I have always been interested in creating images of nature. Whether it be wildlife, predominantly birds and mammals but my interest also explores illustrating reptiles insects and botanicals.. Wile my work has many admirers, I have always been asked why I choose to illustrate wildlife and not create more conceptual work. Rather than using illustration to perhaps explore more about the idea to create work that would be perhaps more thought provoking and create more of a conversation about the ideas behind the work whether it be conservation or drawing attention back to nature and the conversation about why we are so drawn to nature.
